Bush Betrayal now available in Arabic in Beirut

I got a call today from a friend who told me that the Arabic version of Bush Betrayal is now in the stores in Beirut.  The translation deal was signed by St. Martin’s Press last May with the Arabic Scientific Publishers in Lebanon.

I have not seen the translated book – or even the cover design.   I will post the cover design when I get it.

Maybe the availability of this book in Arabic will oblige the Pentagon to pay extra bribes to Iraqi journalists to write pro-American stories.  (The Bush administration, after initially condemning such baksheesh, recently announced that the payments would continue).

I especially appreciated the heads-up because my foreign sources for what is happening with my books are slim & none – and, as Dan Rather likes to say, Slim just left town.

Congrats, Jim! You oughta be on that dissident’s honor roll (AKA the no-fly list) any moment now!

Sunni – since I am an ex-Boy Scout, it is inconceivable that the government would ever put me on such a list.

However, if I do carry the Arabic version of Bush Betrayal with me the next time I fly, and some TSA weevil finds it in my carry on… the result could be entertaining.
