I received this love letter after the appearance last Wednesday on Al Jazeera –
I saw ur interview on al jazeera network and i watched it with a great displeasure of the issues that were discussed , and by the way i want to tell u that i am jordanian and i ‘ve been living in the united states of america this great country since 1985 i am married and have 2 sons and a daughter , i am so proud of being an american and so ashamed of being that of an arab .
Sir what u said on al jazeera a lot of things that made u look like a very arrogant in my view and i must tell u i have no respect for u at all for all what you have uttered on an arab tv for these reasons.
First of all u were very unprofessional just like the man who intervied u and showed the amount of one sided point of view that represents the general view of all muslims and most of the arabs towards the greatness of the united states of america and u just looked like nothing of realistic man , you were asked if all americans thinkof the resistance ion iraq as terrorism , u said no they don’t ,and let me tell u some i am jordanian and what these muslim thugs do in iraq is terrorism and nothing less.
DO U HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS GREAT PRESIDENT BUSH IS DOING FOR US IN THE MIDDLE EAST I AM TELLING THIS SO U MIGHT HAVE AN IDEA , IN SUDAN FOR INSTANCE CHRISTIANS IN THE SOUTH WERE BEING KILLED AND TERRORISED BY THE MUSLIM GOVERNMENT FOR TWENTY YEARS AND THEY KILLED MORE THAN FIVE MILLION PEOPLE , AND IT WASN’T RESOLVED UNTIL THIS GREAT PRESIDENT BUSH DID SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND FINALLY IN A MUSLIM COUNTRY A VICE PRESIDENT IS CHRISTIAN THANKS TO BROTHER BUSH. DO U KNOW THAT IN IRAQ ALL SHITES AND KURDS LOVE WHAT AMERICA HAS DONE FOR THEM GETTING RID OF THAT BRUTAL DICTATOR SADDAM.
DO YOU KNOW MR BOVARD THAT ISLAM IS NOT JUST A BRUTAL RELIGION BUT A RELIGION THAT TEACHES TO TRRORISE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK WHICH ARE JEWS AND CHRISTIANS AND THE QURAN CALL THEM SONS OF THE PIGS AND APES.SO YOU NEED TO WAKE UP AND UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON IN THIS WORLD .
MR BOVARD I AM JUST AN AVERAGE PERSON AND I LOVE THIS COUNTRY AND WILLING TO SEE IT PROSPER AND SAFE AND U JUST ONE OF THOSE LIBERALS THAT ARE WILLING TO TAKE THIS GREAT NATION DOWN THE DRAINS .

And here is a letter a few days ago from an American – with the subject line, “Liberalism at its Finest!”
I will start off by saying, FUCK YOU; you liberal insidious piece of shit!!!
If you were wondering what your problem is, it’s a simple fact, you have a physiological imbalance, liberalism is a serious disease, and you seem to be in stage 4.
Roam lasted 2000 years; it is people like you that will make the US lucky to make it to 350. Our greatest enemy is no foreign power, no terrorist regime, no fundamentalist of any kind, but sick individuals like you, the enemy from within the gates of security that your forefathers died to put up.
This is a very subtle response from a person and group of people that originate from lets say, planet earth. I have one final question for you, I have no idea who you are, but I assume you have a college degree, possibly one from a highly regarded university. His spelling reminded of a copy editor “fix” on a recent book. I quoted the Roman historian Livy. The copy editor, without asking me, changed it to “Levy.” I was perplexed, since as far as I knew, Titus Livius had never even been Briss’ed.

Not only that, but I have always been wary of people who spell redneck as two separate words.
As a classical liberal, I agree mostly with your views, but you treat those who misunderstand you with contempt. You are better than that.
If people are civil in their emails to me, I am civil in my replies.
Folks don’t need to be polite when they write & disagree. I often exchange emails when critics but rarely repost such exchanges on this blog.
