And, unfortunately, few Americans today seem to understand what the Founding Fathers understood as liberty.

I am always amused at the email that comes in denouncing me as a life-long unrepentant liberal. I reckon these folks don’t do Google searches so well.

It’s always interesting to witness individuals who oppose the invasion of Iraq as “pinko-commie-libs” (often thoroughly mixed with more colorful words) or some similar label.

Such a mind has obviously been thoroughly indoctrinated into the extremely limited paradigm of “left and right”. One however should view the political spectrum in terms of “liberty” and tyranny” instead. unfortunately this would require thinking for ones self, an action which is sadly in short supply these days.

On Tom’s comment - Minidresses do have a calming effect, at least in my experience.

Coincidentally, I picked up a copy of Coulter’s book on Treason last week. I was perusing it during the train ride back from New York City. The Amtrak guards looked at me suspiciously when I entered Penn Station. But, when they saw I was carrying Coulter’s book in my hand, they knew they didn’t need to search my travel bag or the large oblong cardboard box I was balancing on my right shoulder.

I’m glad that the brief appearance evoked a strong reaction, regardless of collateral foam.

As far as turning me into Gonzales - I have never requested money from undercover federal agents to buy shoes (as the papers report that the Miami half-wits did).
