It's straight to Guantanamo for anyone who tries that ol' terrorist trick.

Actually, I would assume that a person could dodge the No Fly list by changing their name. But they would not be immune from future idiotic restrictions on their freedom to travel.

I'm curious if anyone knows what happens if someone on the No-Fly List changes his name. Does that get filtered back to this mysterious list somehow, or can they fly again?

I have that book Jim. Almost $2 billion for computer upgrades, but most agents had old PC's that couldn't surf the Net or do e-mail, and the 42 databases with incompatible software. Government efficiency at it's finest.

Ya...the more we learn about government, the more it makes you wonder if we would be better off without it.

I dealt with FBI computer snafus in the "Blundering to 9/11" chapter in Terrorism & Tyranny back in 2003.

I would be lying if I said that what I had learned boosted my faith in the government.

Congress gave the FBI plenty of billions in corporate welfare checks to buy new computers, but the computers didn’t work, which would make perfect sense since who else would buy a load of defective computers at 10 times the price? The government of course! Then again, maybe they just couldn’t figure out how to make them work. (Probably couldn’t find the power button)
Either way, they probably ended up in a dumpster, or were misappropriated by FEMA employees.

I assume the problem is solely because Congress has not given the FBI enough billions to buy new computers.

... how the Bush administration almost always strikes out when it accuses people of being terrorists.
They do? I'm so shocked!!
