On Texas Radio & the Internet Thursday (12/28) 11 A.M. Eastern time

7:09 pm | Uncategorized

One more time: I’ll be on WBAP - the 50,000 watt Texas radio station - Thursday at 11 a.m Eastern.  Brian Wilson (guest hosting for Mark Davis) and I will banter about the year in review.   My cynicism may provoke some lively rebuttals from Dallas area callers….

You can listen live on the Internet here.  The station is at 820 on the AM dial and can be picked up in @ 7 other states. It will also be broadcast nationwide by the ABC Radio network and will be available on Sirius & XM radio.

Since this is one of his last programs of the year, Brian has promised to answer any questions about the best wines to combine with bass fishing.

“banter”?!?!?!?
OK everybody: How many times have you heard J.Bovard “banter”???!!!
(This may be a first)
For the sake of time, there is only one “wine’ that goes with bass fishing:
w-h-i-n-e.

Rouse the villagers!

Whining with fishing? Not with BassMaster Wilson!

Most of the villagers I know sleep until noon, so I don’t think the station needs to up its fire insurance before the show.

Shouldn’t the actual question be “which bass make the best wine?” I presume it’d be a white and go well with fish, but other than that I’ll await further discussion from BW.

After what happened at Thanksgiving, I’m under a restraining order prohibiting me from giving any wine - food combo recommendations.
