Israel is an artificial nation founded on the land of other peoples, settled by foreigners from every inhabited part of the globe, and developed from the ground up from outside help due to holocaust guilt at the expense of the traditional inhabitants. Unless Americans can convince themselves that they are a people with interests and a nation of their own, they are going to be at the mercy of whatever group can hijack the system. Immagine that more than 50% of the population protest in the streets against the seniora gov and the Gov stays in power just because USA backs it. If you do some basic math! 50% of the American population , that is 150 Milions! Immagine a protest with 150 Millions, asking for early election, because they beleive that the curent gov does not represent them. We should support the Lebanese People and not the Gov. When Syria left Lebanon, the lebanese people demanded the gov to make a new electoral law, since the curent law was specialy curved to make it easy for the Pro-syrian people to win. SO, Because Bush wanted to use the Lebanese election as a success story for his Pro-Democracy policies in the middle east, The US embassador had forced an early election wihout waiting for a new law. As it was expected the Same people who were Pro-syrian they won the election and became Pro-Ameircan and Anti-syrian ... but those politians were never Pro-Lebanon. The real Democtratic people who where fighting peacfully for more than 15 years, are curently asking the Gov for an early election... The US gov is supporting the Saniora gov blindly ... Because Saudi Arabia and Israel wants so.... the point is USA is now supporting the same old corrupt polititians who have cheated to win the election ... and the first law that they passed was to cancel the supreme court that will decide if the election was good or not. Been hearing this forever...  If it was going to happen, it likely would have happened long ago. We leave them alone, they'll leave us alone, most likely. But that's no way for politicians to earn campaign contributions.
