But then again, foreign policy has never been about 'Intelligence' any ways. Its always been about political policy. So if Cheney/Clinton want to bomb Iran, they will do it anyways. Public be damned.

...Ron Paul as an analogue to Neville Chamberlain is as backassward, or prepostourous as is properly said, to comparing George Bush II to Sir Winston Churchill.

Wait a minute there buster, some of my best friends is animists.

It remains mysterious to me how the public remains prostrate in the face of the Republic's gutting despite the fact that there are radio shows, comedy programs and the internets pointing out the ongoing trainwreck. Perhaps it is more warm and fuzzy to ponder which media pop star endorses who but it is equally stirring to watch a seriously confused guy like McCain get booed for comparing Paul to Chamberlain. Funny how the mainline press cherry-picked the event beyond recognition.

I once thought this was a Republic in danger, nah, it aint nuthin so prosaic as that, it's a bonafide lapsed Republic and the public should likely get what it deserves, digitally mastered images from them prurient Farm Journals.
