Just like violence is the way of life for the Taliban - so so violence was the way of life for the slave raping south. You can’t have slavery without violence.

Of 480,000 CSA soldiers who should have been on the field — only 120,000 were. The rest had deserted. The largest desertion rate of any modern army belongs to the Confederates.
