Bob Barr, the GOP congressman-turned-Libertarian presidential candidate (and CL columnist-turned-AJC columnist) is being sued by the ghostwriter of his 2008 campaign book, Lessons in Liberty, for $47,000 in unpaid fees.

Libertarian author James Bovard has gotten some high-profile press over the past few days for having the distinction of, as he puts it, making Barr’s the “only U.S. presidential campaign to ever be sued by its ghostwriter.”
