The response of the administration to the Wiki-Leak :
"nothing here to see folks, move along, nothing here, keep moving"...ho ho ho.
It is true, there really is "nothing new" to see here. Empires come and go in the Hindu Kush and as detailed in Artyom Borovik's book entitled "The Hidden War" on the Russian Occupation of
Afghanistan detailed: An Afghan trader in Kabul ,
finding his latest customer base retreating across the mountains northward, he scoffed at buying a chrome plated lighter, a recent hot commodity
from a russian soldier because with them leaving, nobody would want it. The Russian soldier pushed him some more but the Afghani replied that "soon the Russians will be gone and somebody else will come in with their goods and then they will leave
too and then someone else will try to impose themselves and they will leave too".

Move along, there's nothing to see here, Empires come and go, spending vast sums on destruction. After all, the only alternative is, perish the thought "isolationsim". As if the War Train has not isolated us enough already.
