I know this has been observed before by many, but it still amazes me that many conservatives–who profess to understand the concept of limited government–completely forget said concept as soon as they look so much as one mile offshore.

They have not done well with learning curves in general.

It would not surprise me if someday, soon, America brings freedom and prosperity to the Bovard homestead.

And we’ll miss ya, Jim…. :D

For most conservatives, limited government is really just a slogan. They don’t like taxes, but don’t seem to see the connection with lavish government spending.

Those who believed in limited government years ago had deep reservations about it, if not outright contempt. Most of today’s conservatives outright worship the state, at least the military sector.

Whaddya mean theres not a good record of learning curve? Seems to me the mountebanks, crooks , dreamers and dummies have learned real well. Where else can so many talentless people make large sums of money while living like minor
potentates? Where else can someone get virtually everything wrong and remain employed?Where else can you manage to do quite fine while the rest of the economy not propped up by the bunko of quantitative easing is shot to hell? Nah, these folks have learned well. Its just what they’ve learned that stinks to high heaven.

And Americans haven’t learned enough to give these rascals the boot… including the rascals at the top.
