Talk show host and libertarian hell-raiser Brian Wilson and I had fun flailing Obama’s assassination policies on WSPD today. (According to the station’s website, I am WSPD’s “Best Laugh Winner.”)
It’s amazing that a president claiming the right to kill Americans based on secret evidence and a secret memo is not stirring up far greater opposition. At least Ron Paul had the gumption to suggest that this may be an impeachable offense.

Actually, it’s not amazing in the slightest. He’s killing people they’ve been indoctrinated into fearing and hating. Or people that they just don’t care about. Until it starts happening to the Ordinary Guy Next Door,* it’s not going to matter to boobius americanius.
*and if he’s the one whose dog always leaves presents in their yards, they may not care when HE gets offed at 2AM.
Dang, my pretense of idealism wasn’t credible.
Not that it wasn’t a good try, but keep in mind that I see through thin pretenses as a major part of my job description. 😀
I hope I never have to “explain” to you why I have a bunch of burglary tools in my back pocket after I am caught next to a broken window.
Given that I’m carrying “burglary tools” – a Leatherman – as I type this, I’m at risk near ANY broken window.
Though you could also have the officer who charged the woman here with “possession of burglary tools” because she had a knife she was slitting open packages at WallyWorld with….
Geez! Next thing you know, I will be accused of menacing politicians merely because I own some 2 x 4s.
I think your word processor is FAR more of a menace to them than any 2×4 ever made.
Though I’d admit that using the 2×4 would be much more satisfying.
