New Obama Campaign Slogan: One People, One Nation, One Leader

The Obama campaign is urging its supporters to photograph themselves with their hands on their hearts pledging to support the president. Their campaign website urges people to “show that you’re voting for someone who represents us all. Choose one of your reasons for voting and write it on your hand, then pledge to vote. You can share a photo on Twitter and Instagram with #ForAll.”

I guess posing with hands on the heart is more dignified than being photographed on one’s knees and staring upward in a semi-religious trance.

This presidential campaign just keeps getting weirder…

I indeed want to vote for someone who represents us all, except Joe there.

That’s more than a little on the scary side….though it does sound better in the original German.

There was a clip on Fox News the other day, I think it was “Art” Carney, something to the effect of “he’s the president of everybody.” Setting aside that that arguably makes him the president of, say, pedophiles, I would have to point out to the historical ignoratti that the power to govern derives from the consent of the governed. If I do not consent, he is *not* “my” president. He is simply the tyrant in charge of the geographic region in which I live.

Lawhobbit, with that kind of attitude, you’ll never be invited to lead the singing of the Star Spangled Banner at a Washington sporting event.

    We’re all good Germans now…

I wonder if they are screened before being linked on BO’s website. Would love to see someone with his/her hand on heart, with the writing “extrajudicial killings”, “medical marijuana raids” or “prosecute whistleblowers”.

Great idea! Somebody should give that a try…

The gal in the upper left corner is especially odd, with “Love” written on her hand. She does know, I hope, that Obama is running for president? Or does she see him as a god? I find the idea of a president creating love bizarre and creepy.

At least Obama hasn’t yet claimed to “feel your pain.” Or maybe he has and I just missed it.

A better slogan for a photo of someone’s hand: “Squeal for me!”

“I guess posing with hands on the heart is more dignified than being photographed on one’s knees and staring upward in a semi-religious trance.”

It’s also more dignified than kneeling in front of an open trench full of dead bodies while you are shot in the back of the head. I have no use for either one.

I live and therefore I am. I don’t need any other person’s permission to live or defend myself.

I’m submitting a picture of me with one finger over my heart.

If that doesn’t help the Obama campaign meet its fundraising goal, nothing will.

Does the guy with “gender equality” written on his hand want the same rights as women?

I’m feeling confused even though my medications barely work anymore.

Maybe “for my medications to work” would be worth writing on your hand & posting?
