How Should We Baptize Politicians?

Caution-Politicians-at-Work1

Sarah Palin declared last weekend that “waterboarding is how we baptize terrorists.”  Her remark has justifiably been condemned far and wide.

But how should we baptize politicians?  If suspected terrorists deserve to be tortured, what should we do with a class of people who perennially ravage our rights and liberties?

“But how should we baptize politicians? ”

They are already baptized thru their profession. They experience Full Immersion in the septic pool of the Logic Free Zone. They worship the government Trinity of Legislative, Executive and Judicial. They anoint themselves with the superiority of legislative immunity.

Sadly, there are those who think Their Guy is still righteous because he only got sprinkled.

Great points, Brian. One quibble — sprinkled or hosed?

Public caning is how they do it in some places….I could see this method as beneficial on both public perception as well as a good learning tool!!
