Biden\u2019s \u2018Big Lie\u2019 on democracy<\/a><\/h1>\n

In a lethargic yet indignant speech Wednesday from Washington\u2019s Union Station, President Biden portrayed Republican voters<\/a> as a deadly threat to the survival of democracy. But Joe Biden\u2019s version of democracy contains a Montana-sized asterisk that magically exempts himself from his oath of office to uphold the Constitution.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Biden endlessly castigates former President Donald Trump<\/a> for the \u201cBig Lie\u201d that Trump won the 2020 election. But Biden\u2019s \u201cBig Lie\u201d is that he is entitled to use federal power however he pleases because he was certified the winner of that election. But 81 million votes didn\u2019t nullify the Bill of Rights.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking on the edge of Capitol Hill, Biden portrayed himself as the savior of the republic. He declared, \u201cAutocracy is the opposite of democracy<\/a>. It means the rule of one, one person, one interest, one ideology, one party.\u201d<\/p>\n

Like Biden\u2019s mandate for 80 million Americans to get COVID vaccines \u2014 a dictate the Supreme Court struck down as illegal<\/a>? Like when Biden contorted federal law to cancel $500 billion in student loans <\/a>to give Democratic candidates a boost in next week\u2019s election? Like when Team Biden sends FBI agents to harass parents<\/a> who complained at school-board meetings? Like the Biden administration\u2019s proposal to cancel all federal<\/a> school breakfast and lunch subsidies for any state that does not impose radical pro-transgender policies on every public school?<\/p>\n

Biden warned of \u201cthe consequence of lies told for power and profit, lies of conspiracy and malice, lies repeated over and over to generate a cycle of anger, hate, vitriol and even violence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Like the hatred Biden spurred towards people who did not get COVID vaccines? I<\/strong>n his September 2021 televised speech, Biden portrayed the unvaxxed <\/a>as Public Enemy No. 1, warning that \u201cyour refusal has cost all of us.\u201d Biden sneered that vaccine skeptics only wanted \u201cthe freedom to kill<\/a> you\u201d with their COVID. He kept railing about a \u201cpandemic of the unvaccinated\u201d long after COVID cases snowballed among the fully vaxxed. He continues to falsely claim that the vaccines prevent transmission<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Biden offers a \u201cTrust Me\u201d version of democracy in which the Supreme Leader is entitled to be revered. That\u2019s why his appointees are shrouding his abuses and failures<\/strong>. The Department of Homeland Security wants social-media companies to censor criticisms<\/a> of Biden\u2019s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden\u2019s Treasury Department and Agency for International Development are violating federal law by refusing to provide<\/a> any information on US spending and policies to the special inspector general for Afghanistan reconstruction. Even the Trump administration was not that secretive.<\/p>\n
