\u2018I\u2019m just not going to respond to that from here,\u201d snapped White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre<\/a> Wednesday to a question about how the Biden family profited from a Chinese energy company.<\/p>\n

And thus the Biden White House<\/a> revealed its tactic for Joe\u2019s re-election campaign<\/a>: Ignore, and hope most of the media runs interference for them.<\/p>\n

Heck, it worked before!<\/p>\n

Jean-Pierre was rebuffing a question from Fox News\u2019 Peter Doocy about the Biden family members getting than a million dollars in secret payments<\/a> from firms tied to the Chinese Communist Party.<\/p>\n

Jean-Pierre declared, \u201cIt\u2019s been lies and lies and inaccuracy for the past couple years. And I\u2019m just not going to get into it from here.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the press secretary entitles herself to ignore any journalist who might ask pesky questions.<\/p>\n

When a reporter asked Biden about the payments to his family, he brushed off the question: \u201cThat\u2019s not true!\u201d Biden offered no rebuttal to the March 16 report by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer<\/a> (R-Ky.) detailing Bank of America cash transfers to the Bidens and associates.<\/p>\n

What exactly wasn\u2019t true?<\/p>\n

But Biden doesn\u2019t have to prove his innocence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For much of the media, one simple word \u201cdisproves\u201d all the allegations against Biden: Republicans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The motives of critics matter infinitely more than any transgressions Biden committed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At The Washington Post, columnist Philip Bump accused Comer of \u201clive-streaming his fishing expedition.\u201d<\/p>\n

He derided Comer\u2019s investigation<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s nearly all innuendo, a big corkboard with lots of pictures but little interconnecting string.\u201d<\/p>\n

Because Comer aims at \u201cseeing the Democratic president undermined,\u201d there is no need to respond to his evidence.<\/p>\n

Another Washington Post article frets that \u201cthe House Freedom Caucus is vastly overrepresented\u201d on Comer\u2019s Oversight Committee.<\/p>\n

So any member of Congress who\u2019s concerned about freedom is automatically illegitimate?<\/p>\n

A Post piece with a \u201cwitch hunt\u201d headline agonized about the \u201cweaponization\u201d subcommittee\u2019s plans \u201cto probe ongoing Justice Department investigations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Did the Post fret when Democratic congressional committees made deluges of false charges against the Trump administration?<\/p>\n

No, that was merely preventing \u201cdemocracy dying in darkness\u201d or some such balderdash.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An overheated New York Times profile this week declared Comer has \u201ccutthroat instincts\u201d and hails from \u201cone of the most politically vicious counties in America.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Times castigates Comer as \u201can aggressive promoter of sinister-sounding claims about the president and his family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Making it \u201csinister sounding\u201d apparently absolves them of actual reporting.<\/p>\n

The same pattern occurred on the eve of the 2020 presidential election<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Most of the media were far more concerned with who gave The New York Post Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop<\/a> rather than the laptop itself.<\/p>\n

Biden won thanks to lies about the laptop from himself, 51 former top intelligence officials and a phalanx of pundits and reporters who pretended Uncle Joe was as honorable as Jimmy Carter.<\/p>\n

But will there soon be too many scandals for Biden\u2019s media buddies to bury?<\/p>\n

Rep. Comer said last week\u2019s report deals with only \u201cthe first of at least a dozen trails of money . . . that went from China to the Biden family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Biden may face far greater peril from the Treasury Department\u2019s decision last week to permit the congressional committee to examine suspicious activity reports on foreign money the Biden family received.<\/p>\n

Biden supporters revere the government, so how are they going to vaporize those official reports?<\/p>\n

The media don\u2019t have to cover up Biden\u2019s abuses forever \u2014 only until Nov. 5, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After Election Day, any foreign kickbacks the Biden family snared will be as irrelevant as Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop was after Nov. 3, 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Will the media continue to portray each Biden \u201cThat\u2019s not true!\u201d vow as if he were Moses muttering on Mt. Sinai?<\/strong><\/p>\n
