Joe Biden is planning another victory lap as the savior of American democracy.<\/p>\n

The president will do a high-profile speech on the \u201congoing threats to democracy\u201d in Arizona just after the next Republican presidential-candidate debate.<\/p>\n

There is no chance Biden\u2019s speech on that topic will be exhaustive, since he is guaranteed to omit any mention of how his own power is ravishing representative government.<\/p>\n

The president and his media allies like to portray Biden as the incarnation of American democracy.<\/p>\n

But the next \u201csaving democracy\u201d speech will be more heavily choreographed than an aging starlet\u2019s photo shoot.<\/p>\n

Biden\u2019s handlers will choose a stage in Arizona where he doesn\u2019t have to take many steps to the podium, since he tends to fall.<\/p>\n

And there will be nothing on the stage for him to snag a foot on and tumble as if he got slugged by Mike Tyson, repeating his Air Force Academy debacle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The teleprompter will be closely positioned so Biden is not staring at the screen like the last survivor in a zombie-apocalypse movie.<\/p>\n
