The latest deluge of truth from WikiLeaks is a welcome novelty in American politics. <\/p>\n

The New York Times, UK Guardian, and Germany’s Der Spiegel are simultaneously releasing articles today on more than 90,000 Pentagon documents that WikiLeaks posted on the web regarding the Afghan war. <\/p>\n

These documents reveal the lies that have permeated U.S. Afghan policy since 2004. Naturally, the Obama White House is indignant…<\/p>\n

WikiLeaks’ biggest bombshells may be yet to come. There are 15,000 more documents that WikiLeaks is vetting and could release in the near future. According to WikiLeaks’ founder Julian Assange, “thousands” of U.S. attacks <\/strong><\/a>in Afghan could be investigated as possible war crimes. <\/p>\n

If Americans had seen the evidence in the Pentagon’s and other U.S. government files on Afghan debacles, Obama might not have been able to vastly expand the U.S. military role in that country. (I assume that the info from the Pentagon, CIA, and State Department that has not become public is far more volatile than the information WikiLeaks just released). <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
