CNN crunched the exit poll data from yesterday\u2019s New Hampshire primary and found that \u201camong the 34 percent [of Republican primary voters] who said they disapproved of the war, McCain had a wide advantage over the GOP field<\/strong> \u2014 even over Texas Rep. Ron Paul<\/a><\/strong>, the sole advocate of a U.S. withdrawal in the Republican field.\u201d (hat tip to Think Progress<\/font><\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Perhaps such voters did not realize the temporal difference between exiting Iraq\u00a0\u201dnow\u201d (in Ron Paul\u2019s case) versus 10,000 years from now (in McCain\u2019s case, according to his comment on CBS\u2019s Face the Nation last week).<\/p>\n

McCain has rarely missed a chance to grovel at Bush\u2019s feet to support the Iraq war.<\/p>\n
