I thrashed the Federal Reserve’s “profoundly dishonest” Quantitative Easing program on Press TV <\/strong><\/a>this morning. I also bashed the Senate for blocking the “Audit the Fed” bill: \u201cIt is as if politicians don\u2019t want Americans to know how the government is yanking the chains on the currency and probably driving the entire economy over the [fiscal] cliff.\u201d I am a bit mystified by the “[fiscal]” addition to the quote, but I think it still qualifies as a mixed metaphor. I think my sentiment came through.<\/p>\n
