In the “Helltown Road Gang Blues” chapter in Public Policy Hooligan<\/strong><\/a>, I mention a turret that changed my view on humanity – or at least the female half. The turret was built by Italian and German prisoners of war a dozen years before I arrived on that mountainside across the Shenandoah National Park.
