\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Post<\/em> article quoted Paul campaign spokesman Jesse Benton saying that Paul would be “continuing a positive, respectful campaign to influence the policies of the Republican Party.”
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 How can one\u00a0run a \u201crespectful\u201d campaign when the opponent favors quasi-genocide?
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0At what moment did the Ron Paul campaign decide to begin pulling their punches?
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 According to one insider, Ron Paul is now focusing primarily on negotiating with the Republican National Committee to get a good speaking slot at the Republican Convention in September.\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Instead of bringing down the roof, is Ron Paul\u00a0now angling for a seat at the \u00a0table?<\/p>\n

UPDATE #2: Some folks on the Antiwar.com Blog are questioning whether Congressman Paul is focusing on getting a speaking slot at the GOP convention. The Washington Post<\/em> reported on May 6 that \u201cPaul\u2019s campaign hopes to turn such support into upward of 50 delegates for the party\u2019s national convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul in September, where he is gunning for a speaking slot<\/strong>.\u201d
