I’m probably going to update this blog in the next week or two. I will be adding “Add-On” buttons (to easily post blog entries to Facebook, Twitter, etc.), a direct link to my Amazon book page, perhaps a rotating set of quotations, and slightly darker typeset (if possible).
Are there other changes that would make this blog more attractive or easier to use?
Should I consider a total redesign – or ???
I appreciate any suggestions.
Hey James,
By way of feedback, the black bar (below the blue bar at the top doesn’t display right in Firefox 3.6.3 on Windows XP. It’s all jumbled together and one can hardly ready the text.
I’d say overall, the side and content bar is the strong point of the blog. The top blue bar needs some work I think (and of course there is the problem with the display of the black bar under it).
I wouldn’t ordinarily notice it since I read your posts through google reader, but since you asked for feedback I thought I’d check your blog layout.
Thanks, Mark. You’re right that the black bar is jumbled – that is the most glaring glitch on the path.
I appreciate the feedback.
I haven’t been here much, but I’ve found this easy to use on Safari. As Mark said, the text is split on the border between the blue and black bars on the top, but that should be an easy fix.
The quality of the writing here is what brings me back.
Thanks, Neil!
Hello, please use your power and influence to con or hustle (politely ask) Jacob Hornberger to add a forum to his website [www.fff.org]. Thanks. I want to be able to comment on his daily blog.
Nobody ever listens to me, but what the heck, thought I would ask.
Or a ‘delete’ edit function here.
The white background is perfect.
Tory, thanks for the feedback. I will shoot Jacob a note right now on your suggestion.
