That’s the headline on a Washington Post online article seeking comments from people about how the rampage by an Arizona nut case reform themselves. Here’s the article’s pitch:
Reporter Sandhya Somashekhar is looking to interview people who have seen changes in conversations around the dinner table or at work because of the Arizona shootings. We will also post some of your responses here tomorrow.
You can post your response on the Post webpage here.
I did a quick check over the last couple days and since the Democrats and Republicans are both still full of crap, I haven’t changed my tone.
I’m surprised there *hasn’t* been a greater groundswell among the “blood dancers.” The usual suspects are making the usual noises, and the “thou shalt not threaten to give Congress a wedgie” guy is newish (but not unheard of), but otherwise, at least at the moment, the unusual silence is more interesting.
I’ve become far more reverent whenever even whispering the names and honorific titles of our rulers. They deserve our abject obedience, credulity, and worship — kind of like those child-molester priests.
Lawrence, I always figure there is trouble brewing when I hear about you getting reverent.
LawHobbit, let’s see how this plays out the next few days…. I expect we have only seen the first wave of nitwits – and they could be coming from multiple sides/ angles.
I can hear Big Nanny screeching, “I don’t like your tone, young man!”
Like I haven’t heard that before.
Here, I’ll reset my tone control – to 11.
You’re probably right, Jim. I *knew* I shouldn’t have sold off that stack of excess Glock 17 mags for so little….
Hobbit, that’s a hoot.
