It is unfortunate that impose this great Penn Jillette quote has not been superimposed as a background image on all the speeches from the Republican and Democratic national conventions.

  Washington Post cartoonist Tom Toles admits that voters no matter which party wins the presidency in November. Now if only he added a little drawing in the right-hand corner showing Ron Paul or the Libertarian Party saying, “Told you so!”

  The New Yorker is having a cartoon caption contest based on Romney’s head on Easter Island. Deadline for entries is this weekend. Submit your entries at their website here. The real issue is – how much strings did Romney operatives pull to make sure there were no Ron Paul profiles in this competition?
