LIVE ONLINE Friday Morning 10 AM Eastern – Charles Goyette Radio Show

I will be on the Charles Goyette show tomorrow (Friday – 5/18) at 10:05 a.m Eastern time.  Charles is one of the  best talk show hosts in the biz – and he is gung-ho pro-freedom.   We will be chatting about Ron Paul’s presidential candidacy and  about Bush’s revelation at the  press conference today that he is a born-again Constitutionalist.

If you are in Phoenix or much of Arizona, you can listen live at AM 1100 on the dial.

You can also listen live on the Internet at the KFNX web page. Charles will soon have an excellent web page.

Bush as a Born Again Constitutionalist?
This must be like that Yoo crank claiming to be a reborn pacifist libertarian or Cheney a reformed Truthyist. What a farce but we already knew this.

Ron Paul is treated as a pariah by the media because they are petrified of a government that might actually get smaller, less cluster-honking and as a result, less “newsworthy”. No, this Corporate media-government marriage we got thrives on the fact that 2/3 of the populace appears to have seen a Mule and a little sign announcing the sale of 40 acres just inside their very own sphinctre and dove plumb in…without proper forwarding address. It is called a Rectal Rapture, often associated with too much exposure to advertising and Red Heifer Homebrew Hooch. The media far prefers spectators over citizens and uses every chance to rub our noses in their choke-hold.

Watching these nitwits squirm in the face of Pauls resolute common sense and informed historicism is damned enjoyable. There simply aint no way he’s going to get elected with the chuckle-headed mainline media gits we have but just the idea that his principles get air time is an astonishing development. As I pitch his virtues to liberals and conservatives and they are stunned by my actually supporting another Texan after my , ahem, manifest problems with el Duncerio Lexitripani, I use the silence to push the agenda and give out a few websites for them to explore. We may be seeing the re-emergence of an internet-based authentic agora with this election and if so, this vicarious agora of raving idiocy is toast…and they know it.

    Mr. Sabin says:

“We may be seeing the re-emergence of an internet-based authentic agora with this election and if so, this vicarious agora of raving idiocy is toast…and they know it.”

I’m not so sure. If Paul does go far, I’ll be willing to bet several rounds of whatever anyone’s drinking that thoughtful internet sites and online movements in the next election cycle will either be spammed to death or shut down all together.

Paul has the Establishment fuming. They will not stand for much more of this truthful, thoughtful expose of their folly.

All that said about next go around, nothing is out of consideration in the next 15 months: false-flag silliness in Iraq or in the Gulf, innumerable “terrorists’ cells’ being found and prosecuted, untold plots in every corner of the country/world. The obvious talking points being, ‘stay strong and behind American militarism; don’t listen to a small-time, mousy Congressman from Texas.’

Whatever happens, Paul deserves our support and respect. He’s the only candidate (aside from Gravel) speaking truth to power. In this day and age, that’s enough for canonization!

Wes – so you don’t think that the other candidates will look at the response Ron Paul is getting and decide that they, too, should be honest with the American people?

    Jim,

Happy hour already started up there, Jim? Hah, hah, the only way those idiots would start telling the truth would be if they were subjected to the same sort of torture they advocate for everyone else.

To wit, a “frontline” GOP candidate’s family jewels hooked up to a power main, hooded, and with the appropriate dunce cap placed squarely on his brow…now figuratively that would be worth the price of admission.

N.B. NSA and all data miners, please read and understand the word “figuratively”! Knowing the literal nature of our present administration and general American public, please understand the word, “figuratively”, to mean, ‘just kidding’!

“Bush is a born again constitutionalist.” Too bad, few will believe that after all those tales he told before the invasion.

“We gottem on their last throes.” (his buddy)

They will never learn : http://www.fff.org/blog/index.asp

Hope those data miners don’t bother me too.

    Jim,

As usual, a good and entertaining interview. I have that fear also about them pulling Paul from further “debates”. If Paul can continue to get his platform out I think I can see a critical mass of extremely angry people forming in support of him. All the neocon talk radio hosts are fuming at him right now and taking his points with Guiliani completely out of context. Hannity has found a good way to deal with some Paul callers– hanging up on them. Some debater.
