Author and Libertarian Institute chief Scott Horton and I had a long chat on IRS Election Meddling and the Trump-Harris Debate. You can listen to the whole show at the link below. Here are some of my comments from the transcript:
“After 97 minutes watching the Trump-Harris debate, I was tottering on the edge of cynicism.”
“I used to live in the mountains, but I went downhill.”
“I don’t see any evidence in this year’s presidential race that Americans still care about freedom. Individual liberty is less and less valued with each presidential election. It’s been 44 years since a major party candidate made individual freedom his main pitch.”
“Trump should have been better prepared against Harris. Reminded me of Muhammad Ali’s fights in which he blustered but didn’t train enough so he got beaten to a pulp twice by Joe Frazier, got his jaw busted by Ken Norton, and even got whipped by Spinks.”
Scott asked: “Do you think that the Secret Service deliberately left Trump’s ass hanging out there to get shot?
I replied, “We’re still waiting for the final disclosures on the JFK shooting, but hopefully we it doesn’t take as long to find out the truth of what happened in Butler. Some people just don’t have faith in magic bullets”(referring to the famous Warren Commission scam championed by Arlen Specter and J. Edgar Hoover).
Scott said that some people said that Jesus had intervened to save Trump from those bullets.
I replied, “I think Jesus tends to be in that county in in Pennsylvania because that was where my father learned how to milk cows working on a farm during high school.”
