Anti-Torture Activism with a Smile

Neil Alexander, a New Hampshire activist is doing a great job of haunting the incumbents for voting for torture.   His signs are here.

This haunting and taunting should continue long after Nov.7.

And another hitch: malcontents could take the signs down.

Maybe we need something more indelible.

If these congressmen are going to brag about voting for the torture bill, let’s tattoo ‘em and thus prop up their pride in perpetuity.

It would not be necessary to tatoo the entire @ 94 page bill on every congressman.
(Hat tip to Claire Wolfe, the most feared libertarian hellraiser west of the Mississippi).

Hey, now there’s an idea. Off to the sign painters to get enough signs to annotate every Federal politician from Alabama!!!

“Federal politician from Alabama” – there’s a phrase that would have spurred tar-and-feathers 100 some years ago…

Yes, Jim…oh, for the good ol’ days when association with Washington, D. C. was more damaging to an Alabamian’s character than being seen coming out of a ‘cat house’! Unfortunately, we have a Governor (Bob Riley – former Congresscritter – (R) (retard) who was elected and will probably be reelected because of his relations with the whore of Babylon!

    Take care.

Wes – all I know about southern cathouses is what I read about Rita Mae Brown. And all I remember from her novel is a line about how one lady specialized in “cannibalizing the next generation.”

Never could figure out what that meant.
