A very witty podcast and enlightening as usual. FYI Judge Clarence Thomas quit drinking booze decades ago. Thomas grew up in poverty in Pinpoint, Georgia which is a trailer town slum on the edge of the Savannah marsh. Thomas’ father was a trash hauler and he instilled a strong work and honesty ethic in Thomas when he was a kid.
My folks lived on Skidway Island which sits across the marsh from Pinpoint. They’d drive by, as did I, Pinpoint many times. Now it is a historical site due to the famous Judge Thomas.
Read the autobiography by Clarence Thomas. It’s a good book. Thomas, IMO, has the best, maybe the only, ethics on the Supreme Court.
