Two shots of my Mom and I – the first in my pre-cynic stage, and the second 34 years later on Christmas Eve 1990. My mother was a warm-hearted lady who radiated joy and brought happiness to people around her. I especially appreciated when she did the “Sergeant Schulz – I see nothing” routine & pretended not to notice the minor league mischief of my teen years. On Mother’s Day – thanks, Mom, for all the penalty flags not thrown.
Your mother looks like she was a lot of fun.
She radiated cheerfulness and had a great sense of humor. And her bright smile lasted as long as she lived.
Kathy said that’s good, she enjoyed the pictures.
Thanks a lot, Twila!
