Pastor Butch Paugh and I talked about how the government was ravaging American freedom on his radio program. Show was spurred by the New York Post excerpt of the first chapter of Last Rights: The Death of American Liberty. Pastor Butch lives in West Virginia, a state that has a lot more freedom than any place on the Northeast Corridor. He understands TSA much better than Bostonians do. The 1944 quote from Judge Learned Hand on “the spirit of liberty” resonated intensely with him. We concurred on the absurdity of Covid decrees that shut down churches while entitling liquor stores to remain open; Pastor Butch said he was very disappointed at how churches complied with those lockdown orders. The logo for the program captures Pastor Butch’s position on the Second Amendment. MP3 outtake of the show is below.
