Video - My CPAC Patriot Act Bash (and Jacob Hornberger’s Speech)

FFF “Repeal the PATRIOT Act!” Roundtable from CPAC 2011 from The Future of Freedom Foundation on Vimeo.
Here’s the video from Saturday’s CPAC forum, sponsored by Campaign for Liberty.
Ivan Eland did an excellent job of moderating. My speech was probably about 15 minutes. Hornberger followed and gave the best speech I have ever seen him give. (And he was already among the best libertarian speakers in the land).

This was a wonderful presentation. Were there any die-hard neo-cons that frowned during the delivery?

I was wearing an old pair of glasses, so I couldn’t see the audience that well.
Nobody threw anything.
Or if they did, it missed.

Alright Buster, just what side of history are you guys on? Well, I don’t mean to suggest that you might be on something but based on Hornberger’s fine and spirited presentation, we do know you are not on the methane this government spews like a fat steer standing upon the top of a dirt pile in the fattening yard, thinking he is “at the summit”.
I would not advise anyone to wish too deeply for that wake up call that might spur the citizenry to a bit of salutary critical appraisal though. Gullibility would seem to be the Fort of Highest Preference for the citizen of the debauched republic. Neo-cons don’t die hard, they are the undead.

Dirk, thanks for the great diagnosis: undead. I’ve often noticed that Republicans and conservatives have that “pod-person” look about them. And they have ears to match.
