The Ellsberg “Most Dangerous Man” Film in DC on Thursday (10/29)

The new film, THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN AMERICA: DANIEL ELLSBERG AND THE PENTAGON PAPERS, will be shown in Washington at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center this Thursday (10/29) at 7 pm. Details here. Ellsberg will take part in panel discussion after the film is shown.

The film, which is getting great reviews, tells how Ellsberg risked spending a life in prison to bring the truth about the Vietnam War to Americans. He had hoped truth would set Americans free from the spell of official lies. (I discussed Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers in an article earlier this year.)

The only thing which shall set the american free from the spell of official lies is if they pull their pointy little heads out of the miasmic depths of their flabby asses, allow the dense orb to cool a while and thence begin to look about in daylight free of the enervating quality of a methane rich environment. At this juncture, the truth is a lie. It is what Change hogties and throws into a dark pit, claiming victory with the blood-smeared cool nonchalance of Meat Packing Plant Boner.

So you aren’t going to see the movie?

(Netflix is carrying it, but it is not yet available there).

Not in D.C. but I think it might be coming to Jacob Burns in Westchester but I heard there are problems with the showing in New Haven because Skull and Bones is threatening to put a Geronimo’s Skull Hex on the Endowment Administrator’s Office if the showing aint cancelled.
