Shaun Thompson and I had a rollicking chat today on Chicago’s The Answer AM 560, thrashing politicians across the board. No prisoners were taken. Shaun mentioned that politicians don’t bother reading the thick legislative bills they enact. I quoted Milton Berle’s great line – “You can send a man to Congress but you can’t make him think.” We talked about Covid fraud (here’s a link to my New York Post cover story today). He mentioned that convicts in Chicago had snared PPP loans to pay their bail. Durn, woulda been a great anecdote for my article – next time.We agreed that the federal debt is a huge wrecking ball endangering America’s future. I am forever branded in Shaun’s mind as “the guy who wrote for Playboy.”
