On June 30, 1995, I helped shatter the coverup of federal killings at Ruby Ridge, Idaho. I got hold of a 542 page confidential Justice Department and wrote a Wall Street Journal piece exposing the official lies on the FBI killing of Vicki Weaver as she stood holding her baby by her cabin doorway. Federal appeals court decisions subsequently slammed the FBI and the Justice Department paid millions of dollars to the Weavers to settle their wrongful death lawsuit.
