Weren’t things supposed to be different after Obama was elected?

Ya know, that looks a lot like you on the right there, Jim….. 😀
Nah. I was in the Witness Protection Program the year that cartoon was drawn.
Jim, your question really opens a can of worms. While a few Obamatons have admitted their disappointment in the savior, most of them are in deepest denial, and they are following his fellow-traveling democrats wherever they lead. Last week, there was a love-fest of democrats at a local “meet your congresscritter” event for Susan Davis-D (D for duplicity). I personally carried a sign mentioning that she unfailingly funds all of the wars despite supposedly being against it. It’s kind of like being a little pregnant I guess. She’s also voted for every bailout package of banksters, etc., despite claiming she is “against corporate control of government.” She also voted against Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Fed despite being a co-signer. With stuff like that and bits in her newsletter touting her participation in a local beach clean-up effort (while spreading depleted uranium around Iraq), it appears that democrats are completely bowled over by Machiavellian tactics: say what they want to hear; they don’t have the memory to keep an eye on anything you actually do. Needless to say, the event was sickening, and when it was over, her adorers moved forward to take communion and simply bask in her light. Which of her faces were they looking at?
Lawrence, I’m glad you made that congress-critter feel some heat. It’s folks like you that put the fear into the Establishment…..
Hopefully DAvis has more reason to sweat soon..
