For a minute there, I thought Ignatz had hit Krazy Kat in the head with a rock instead of the usual brick.
But, I was in the wrong comic strip. A situation I often find myself in.

Perhaps Mutts was heavily influenced by Ignatz & crew. The dialogue in that old cartoon strip was often better than the drawing.
So much muck. So little rake.
Even worse, – the price of hip boots just went up.
As though that matters to those of us who are armpit deep in the stuff..
At least you have the consolation that you are doing God’s work.
