I’m Speaking Monday (9/11) at Camp Democracy, DC

I will be speaking on “Bush & Attention Deficit Democracy” at the Camp Democracy antiwar protest on the Mall in Washington on Monday, September 11.

The program has me listed as being on from 1:30 to 3 pm but I swear to God I won’t be talking that long.  Either there are questions from the audience or is it off early to the nearby Cap City Brewery.

More info is at http://www.campdemocracy.org – the program for 9/11 is here. My talk is scheduled for Tent # 2 – which will be someplace between 3rd and 7th St. on the Mall.

Sure wish I could be there! Have fun and have a cold one for me, Jim.

Sunni, it will be a sacrifice, but, OK, I’ll have a cold one for you.

Would be a treat to see your bright smiling face in the audience!

Well, if we both manage to stay out of jail long enough I’m sure it can be arranged. (And I appreciate your sacrifice on my behalf.)

OK, then I hope you enjoy Kolsch beer.

Hey Jim, according to the program it’s SIESTA time from 1:30-3:00, a time for “quiet contemplation”, so make sure you don’t rouse your audience too much 🙂

Given the siesta schedule, maybe it would be better to hit the brewery before the speech.
