    Nice! Looks like you got your money’s worth with the new camera. Was this in Patapsco Valley State Park? Haven’t been up there since before they demolished Bloede Dam.

    Thanks, John! I’m still learning how to use the new Nikon but it has a lot of potential. Yes, it was in that state park – just off of Rt 40. Catching up with kinfolk there.

    Nikon?? I’m not sure we can be friends any more: I’m a Canon loyalist. JK, Nikon makes excellent cameras and lenses, and it’s wonderful to have such an abundance of choices.

      Canon makes awesome cameras. My impression when I bought my first DSLR was that the Nikon models were a little simpler to use than Canon. I stuck with Nikon for the replacement in part because I figured it would be easier to get up to speed. Canon prices look better at this point.
