Davi Barker has put together a very amusing retort and parody to the 24 Types of Libertarian cartoon by Barry Deutsch.

“As long as rulers are above the law,
citizens have the same type of freedom
that slaves had on days
when their masters chose not to beat them.”

That’s brilliant!
The artist left out one type, though. The only one that matters: the Plutocrat, one of the folks who run government as a profit-taking enterprise.
Excellent work!
That was sweet Mr.Bovard and sadly oh so true.
Odd. All my socialist friends who thought the 24 Libertarians poster was hilarious, when sending it to me, seemed to have lost their sense of humor when I fired this one back.
Go figure.
Is there also a rebuttal for the if housepets were libertarians cartoon? On the other hand, that would need changes in the art (to show animals about to be sheered, milked, or slaughtered) as well as the text.
That housepets/libertarians cartoon was lame – even by political humor standards.
Sadly, most people are mixtures of the 24 basic types.
I would love to make this into a durable banner to put at booths during campaigns with your permission.
I think that’s a great idea – it could be very effective.
Davi Barker holds all the rights to the drawing – so shoot Davi a line…
(Where is Shenandoah County?)
Hey Jim. I have no problem with that at all. In fact I’ve already seen this comic passed out at events as a flier. It’s a funny feeling to come across your own work in the field.
If you’d like a hi-res file drop me an email. I also happen to work for a company that does banners if you’re in the Bay Area.
Thanks for all the positive feedback from everybody.

Uh, what?
Mr. Barker didn’t do a single thing. The art is stolen from Barry Deutsch. But “rights” is such an “authoritarian” concept anyhow, amirite?
Thanks, for your permission. Yes, I would like to get the hi-res version and print the banner through you. Please contact me through my email.
